Facilities Supervisor - University of Maryland role with Capstone On Campus Management Llc located in College Park, Prince George's County.

About the Role

This full‑time position leads the facilities team at Discovery House, ensuring residential buildings operate safely, efficiently, and comfortably for students and staff.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, and custodial services for campus housing facilities.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and respond to emergency work orders.
• Supervise, train, and schedule a team of technicians and custodial staff.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted service providers.
• Monitor building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life‑safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, work completed, and inventory supplies.
• Assist in developing operational budgets and track expenses against forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with university safety policies, local codes, and occupational health regulations.
• Participate in campus projects and provide Facilities input during campus renovation or upgrades.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within higher education or student housing.
• Strong knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in work order and CMMS software.
• Effective communicator capable of interfacing with residents, staff, and university officials.
• Capability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety standards and proactive hazard identification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between campus sites as needed.
