The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Officer to join our team at The Cathedral College. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for maintaining high standards of facility management. Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all college facilities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage contracts for external service providers.
• Develop and implement facility management plans.
• Coordinate with staff, students, and contractors to address facility needs.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Facilities Management or related field (essential).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management or a related role.
• A strong understanding of building maintenance, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
