Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive problem-solver to join our team as a Conservation House Facilities Officer. This role is crucial in ensuring that the facilities at Āpiha WhakaurungaWhare Papa Atawhai operate efficiently and safely, allowing DOC personnel to focus on their conservation efforts. The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,590.00 - $82,000.00 per annum for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of facilities at Āpiha WhakaurungaWhare Papa Atawhai
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to keep facilities in optimal condition
• Support staff by providing a safe and comfortable working environment
• Participate in planning and implementing sustainable practices within the facility

• Experience in facilities management or related field, with a focus on conservation areas preferred
