What This Role Involves

The Estimator is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, defensibility, and profitability of all commercial plumbing estimates produced by the organization. This role functions as a core revenue-generation and margin-protection position, responsible for converting qualified bid opportunities into disciplined, competitive, and executable proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for HVAC projects
• Analyze project requirements to determine the most cost-effective solutions
• Ensure all bids are defensible and meet company standards
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and other departments to ensure proposals align with client needs
• Contribute to the profitability of projects through efficient bid preparation and negotiation

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can deliver high-quality estimates that support our growth goals. The ideal candidate should have experience in HVAC estimation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator or similar role
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and materials
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
