Enterprise Account Executive, Federal Financials

Databricks is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, Federal Financials to drive sales growth within our Public Sector segment across the United States. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build and manage strategic client relationships while advancing our mission to democratize AI and analytics.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive for Federal Financials, you'll oversee a dedicated portfolio of high-value accounts within the federal government and financial services sectors. You'll own complex sales cycles, navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making, and close enterprise-scale deals. Your consultative approach and relationship-building expertise will be central to success in this account-focused role.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and C-suite executives across your assigned accounts
• Develop tailored sales strategies aligned with each account's technical and business priorities
• Lead product presentations, coordinate with solution specialists, and address client objections throughout extended sales cycles
• Manage your pipeline effectively, forecast revenue accurately, and achieve quota targets consistently
• Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and long-term value delivery
• Uncover and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts

What We're Looking For

• Track record of closing enterprise software deals in regulated industries or government procurement environments
• Deep familiarity with federal sales cycles, compliance frameworks, and purchasing processes
• Strong negotiation and executive communication skills with influence across organizational levels
• Enterprise sales experience selling solutions to financial institutions, federal agencies, or critical infrastructure organizations
• Ability to manage complex, multi-quarter sales cycles with numerous decision-makers
• Self-directed approach with strong territory and pipeline management discipline
