About the Role
As an EMC/EMI Test Specialist with SpaceX's Starlink Aviation team, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing electromagnetic compatibility and interference tests on avionics systems and components. You'll work directly with engineering teams to validate that our aviation products meet regulatory requirements and performance specifications before deployment.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute comprehensive EMC/EMI test procedures in controlled laboratory environments
- Operate and maintain specialized test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and shielded chambers
- Develop detailed test plans aligned with aerospace standards and regulatory guidelines
- Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot electromagnetic interference issues
- Document test results and prepare technical reports for engineering review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development cycles
- Ensure compliance with FCC, FAA, and other relevant electromagnetic regulations
What We're Looking For
