The Opportunity
McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a dependable Dispatcher to coordinate daily HVAC service and installation schedules for our residential and light commercial customers in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. In this role, you’ll field inbound calls, prioritize and assign jobs, and route technicians efficiently to meet customer needs while minimizing downtime and travel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Field inbound calls from customers and service requests
- Prioritize and assign jobs to the appropriate technician based on urgency and location
- Route technicians effectively to minimize travel time and meet customer needs promptly
- Update work orders with accurate information regarding job status
- Ensure all customer interactions are professional and courteous
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a dispatching role, preferably within the HVAC industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for record keeping and scheduling
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
