About the Role
As Director of Volunteer Services, you will oversee all operational and strategic aspects of our volunteer program at our Dallas hospital location. This leadership position shapes culture, drives meaningful engagement, and amplifies the hospital's mission through community service.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct organizational operations and strategic initiatives of the Volunteer Services Department
- Recruit, onboard, and develop volunteers who share our commitment to pediatric care and patient support
- Supervise volunteer team members and provide ongoing performance management and mentoring
- Coordinate volunteer scheduling, assignments, and program activities across hospital departments
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to identify and create meaningful volunteer opportunities
- Measure program outcomes, gather feedback, and continuously improve volunteer services and engagement
