About the Role
As Director of Quality Systems / FSQA, you will own the food safety and quality agenda for a growing food manufacturer committed to producing safe, high-quality products. Based on-site in Itasca, DuPage County, you will shape the strategy, standards, and culture that keep every product compliant and customer-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the company's food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) programs across manufacturing operations.
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems that uphold the highest food safety standards.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with applicable food industry requirements.
- Champion operational excellence and consistent product quality throughout production.
- Lead and develop quality teams, embedding accountability and best practices on the plant floor.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in quality systems, food safety, and quality assurance within food manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations, compliance frameworks, and quality management systems.
- Track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in a production environment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence a culture of quality and accountability.
- Willingness to work on-site in Itasca, DuPage County (this is not a remote position).
