Payroll & Benefits Accountant

ManpowerGroup is recruiting a full-time Payroll & Benefits Accountant to support its Finance Department serving the North America market. Based in Newark, Essex County, you'll manage critical payroll and benefits operations with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

About the Role

As Payroll & Benefits Accountant, you'll be integral to our Finance Department, supporting the North America market with essential payroll and benefits administration. This position combines technical accounting expertise with employee-focused benefits management in a fast-paced, organized environment.

What You'll Do

• Process payroll for diverse employee populations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Administer employee benefits programs, including eligibility, enrollment, and claims
• Maintain payroll and benefits records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare payroll tax filings and benefits-related documentation
• Coordinate with third-party payroll and benefits vendors
• Support Finance Department initiatives with analytical insights and detailed reporting
