This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll build community, drive programming, and empower student leaders in a dynamic campus setting.

About the Role

As Director of Jewish Student Life, you'll lead comprehensive student engagement initiatives that strengthen Jewish identity, foster belonging, and create meaningful experiences for Mason's students. You'll oversee the full scope of student programming, community partnerships, and leadership development while stewarding Mason Hillel's expansion and growing presence on campus.

What You'll Do

• Design, plan, and execute student programming—from cultural and educational events to social gatherings and holiday celebrations—that appeal to diverse backgrounds and interests
• Develop and mentor student leaders, building organizational structures and opportunities for meaningful involvement in Jewish campus life
• Build strategic partnerships across campus with other student organizations, academic departments, and institutional stakeholders
• Create welcoming, inclusive programming that cultivates Jewish community and supports student engagement
• Manage operational planning, budgets, and logistics for all initiatives and events
• Foster a vibrant student culture that balances spiritual exploration, social connection, and personal growth
• Support student-led clubs and groups, providing guidance and resources for self-directed activities

• Proven experience in student life, Jewish community work, or campus leadership roles
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across diverse populations
• Strategic thinking and organizational acumen to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and develop emerging student leaders
• Understanding of Jewish culture, values, and contemporary issues affecting students
• Comfort with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic campus environment
