Arketa, a leading platform for modern fitness and wellness studios, is seeking a full-time Director of Customer Care based in the US to lead our customer success and support operations.

Position Summary

As Director of Customer Care at Arketa, you'll shape the customer experience for studios and wellness entrepreneurs scaling their businesses through our platform. You'll drive strategy and execution across customer support, success, and advocacy—building a team that helps wellness professionals manage schedules, bookings, and their hybrid business models with confidence and ease.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a customer care team aligned with Arketa's mission to make wellness more accessible
  • Own the customer support strategy, from response times and knowledge management to satisfaction metrics
  • Build proactive customer success programs that reduce churn and accelerate adoption of platform features
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to translate customer feedback into product priorities
  • Establish systems and processes that maintain support quality as Arketa grows
  • Champion the customer voice across the organization and drive customer advocacy initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading customer support, customer success, or similar customer-focused teams
  • Proven track record building, hiring, and developing high-performing teams in growth-stage environments
  • Experience owning customer metrics including satisfaction, NPS, resolution time, and retention
  • Strong communication skills translating between technical teams and non-technical customers
  • Background in SaaS, platform software, or subscription businesses strongly preferred
  • Genuine passion for customer service excellence and mission-driven problem solving
