Director, Data Center Cost Control Team Lead

Oracle is hiring a full-time Director, Data Center Cost Control Team Lead in Madison, to steer financial strategy and cost governance across some of the most ambitious cloud infrastructure builds in the industry.

About the Role

As the Director, Data Center Cost Control Team Lead, you will own complete cost leadership for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) gigascale construction programs. These programs span hyperscale data center campuses and the enabling infrastructure that supports them. The position pairs disciplined cost management and project controls with fast-moving, time-to-market delivery, sharpening forecast accuracy while keeping large-scale construction on budget. This is an on-site role based in Madison.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end cost leadership for OCI gigascale and hyperscale data center construction programs.
• Establish and run project controls that improve forecast accuracy across complex, multi-phase builds.
• Balance rigorous financial oversight with scaled, time-to-market delivery execution.
• Lead and develop the data center cost control team, setting standards for reporting and accountability.
• Partner with construction, engineering, and program stakeholders on enabling infrastructure cost planning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in cost management and project controls on large-scale construction programs.
• Experience supporting data center, hyperscale, or comparable capital-intensive infrastructure projects.
• Strong command of forecasting, budgeting, and cost-control methodologies in fast-paced delivery environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across construction and program functions.
