Pixlr Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our team at our Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Malaysia office. This is a full-time position for someone ready to design, deploy, and maintain our infrastructure and cloud systems.
What This Role Involves
As a DevOps Engineer at Pixlr Group, you'll bridge development and operations teams, automating deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability. You'll work with containerisation technologies, orchestration platforms, and monitoring solutions to keep our services running smoothly. Your contributions will directly impact how quickly we can ship features and how reliably our systems perform for users.
Core Duties
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using modern tools and frameworks
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and reliability
- Document infrastructure, procedures, and runbooks for team knowledge sharing
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies that improve operational efficiency
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix system administration
- Strong knowledge of containerisation and orchestration platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Understanding of networking, security, and database concepts
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
