About the Role

We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join our team in Longfield, Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Senior Nurses or Deputy Managers who are seeking their next step. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £24 per hour (equivalent to £49,920 per annum) over a 40-hour week, with a balanced workload split between 22 hours working clinically as Nurse in Charge and 18 dedicated management hours each week.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of care are maintained within the nursing home.
• Support the Head Manager in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
• Participate in performance reviews and staff development programs.

Who We're Looking For

• Experienced Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager with a proven track record of leadership within the healthcare sector.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a nursing home environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
