About the Role

The Dean will be responsible for enabling the integration of industry experts in shaping policies and practices for the newly established School of Health Science. This role involves providing leadership in the growth and development of the school by bringing in experiences and best practices from similar leading schools within India (nationwide) (nationwide) and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement policies and practices with industry experts' input
• Liaise between the academic community and industry to ensure relevance and practical applicability of courses
• Promote the school's vision and mission through strategic planning and execution
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, partners, and industry leaders
• Oversee the curriculum development and design of course content in collaboration with faculty members
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the school

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced leader who can provide visionary leadership, drive academic excellence, and foster a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should possess:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in health sciences education or related field
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strategic partnerships
• Strong understanding of industry trends and their implications for academic programs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• A proven track record of developing and implementing effective policies and practices
• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred
