The Opportunity

The Dean of Culture at Challenge Preparatory Charter School plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture for our K-5 scholars. This position is crucial in setting and upholding high behavioral expectations while maintaining open communication with students, teachers, administrators, and families.

Core Duties

  • Establish and reinforce positive student behavior norms
  • Maintain consistent and constructive communication with all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the principal to ensure school culture norms are effectively defined and reinforced

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a deep understanding of K-5 education, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in fostering positive student behavior. A Master’s degree is preferred, though not required. Previous experience as a Dean or in a similar role is highly desirable.
