CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR/RECEPTIONIST - Gordon Yates Recruiting & Training Ltd - Reading, Berkshire, UK, UK

Position Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor/Receptionist to join our team at Gordon Yates Recruiting & Training Ltd in central Reading. This role offers an immediate start and a competitive hourly rate of £14.50. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, ensuring high standards of health and safety, and maintaining security levels within the building.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Open and close the building while maintaining security levels (building sweeps for people on site when closing)
• Manage the reception desk as part of a rota that includes weekends and evenings
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety by undertaking regular checks and reporting any issues

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or reception roles is advantageous but not essential
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure
• Flexibility with working hours including weekends and evenings
