Build the skills for this role
Prioritise retail trading maths, promotional execution, stock discipline, people leadership, and calm customer recovery. No certification resources or costs were supplied in CERTS.
Prepare examples of lifting availability or service scores, running a promotion cleanly, coaching under pressure, and handling a difficult customer outcome. Know recent public themes: loss prevention tech and trading outlook. Expect scenario questions on Drumchapel store operations, not remote work.
Strong fit if you enjoy store-floor leadership plus commercial trading judgment in UK grocery. Data here is thin on pay, culture scores, and local life—validate those directly with Sainsbury's and store visits.
