About This Position

We're looking for a dedicated Custodian to support our Lafayette restaurant location in Louisiana. As a member of our facilities team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our restaurant's cleanliness, hygiene standards, and overall appearance. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen spaces according to health and safety standards
• Mop, sweep, and polish floors throughout the restaurant to maintain a presentable, slip-free environment
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly, following company waste management procedures
• Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to management
• Clean exterior areas, windows, and entrance ways to create a welcoming first impression
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and opening or closing procedures as assigned
• Respond promptly to spills and maintain cleanliness during peak service hours
• Follow all health codes, safety regulations, and operational guidelines

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Comfort lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and crew members
• Previous custodial or restaurant cleaning experience is a plus, but training will be provided
