About the Role
As Department Manager at our Raytown location, you'll take ownership of your assigned department or shift while partnering with restaurant leadership. You'll be responsible for maintaining our high standards of food quality, service speed, and customer satisfaction while creating a positive workplace culture. This is a hands-on position where you lead by example and develop your team into top performers.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and train team members to maintain consistent service standards and food safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels, manage costs, and optimize operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with employee scheduling, performance feedback, and team development
- Execute operational initiatives and promotions set by restaurant management
- Model exceptional customer service and work ethic for your team members
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant, quick-service, or retail management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy service periods
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards
- Reliable attendance with flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Openness to learning and adapting in a fast-paced restaurant environment
