Position Summary
This full-time CRNA role offers the opportunity to practice anesthesia across a diverse range of surgical specialties in a collaborative healthcare setting. Working 10-hour shifts, you'll administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care while partnering closely with surgeons, surgical nurses, and anesthesiologists. The extended shift structure supports continuity of patient care and streamlined perioperative workflows throughout your day.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia management plans
- Administer and manage anesthesia for orthopedic, urological, general surgery, gastrointestinal, and gynecological procedures
- Monitor hemodynamic stability, oxygenation, and vital signs continuously throughout surgical cases
- Manage patient recovery from anesthesia and provide postoperative care coordination
- Maintain thorough documentation and detailed anesthetic records for all procedures
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary surgical and clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent graduate-level education
- Active CRNA certification and current Texas RN licensure
- Valid DEA registration
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in anesthesia administration across multiple surgical specialties
- Sound clinical decision-making skills and unwavering commitment to patient safety
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a collaborative practice philosophy
