Corporate Production Manager – Southeast

CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a Corporate Production Manager – Southeast to lead production operations across the company’s branches in the Southeastern United States.

About the Role

In this full‑time position, you will oversee the end‑to‑end loan production process, ensuring that teams meet volume, quality, and compliance goals while delivering an exceptional borrower experience.

What You'll Do

• Direct daily production activities for multiple branch locations, aligning workflow with corporate targets and regional market demands.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as loan closing times, pull‑through rates, and error percentages, initiating corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with sales, underwriting, closing, and compliance departments to streamline hand‑offs and reduce bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging loan origination technology and data analytics to increase efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and mentor production specialists and team leads, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor guidelines, conducting regular audits and preparing reports for senior leadership.
• Serve as the primary liaison between branch managers and corporate production leadership, communicating priorities and gathering field feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing mortgage production teams, preferably in a distributed retail lending environment.
• Strong knowledge of loan origination systems, underwriting standards, and GSE requirements.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting performance data and translating insights into actionable plans.
• Effective communication abilities for presenting results to executives and negotiating cross‑functional solutions.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region as needed to support branch operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
