Corporate Communications Lead, Transformation & Strategic Initiatives

Humana is recruiting a Corporate Communications Lead, Transformation & Strategic Initiatives to establish and execute communication strategies that support our most significant business transformations and strategic priorities within our Insurance Segment. This full-time position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, where you'll serve as a senior communications partner to executive leadership and help guide successful organizational change across the company.

About the Role

You'll own the development and execution of comprehensive communication frameworks for major business initiatives, technology deployments, and organizational restructuring efforts. Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you'll ensure that complex transformation efforts are clearly understood and supported throughout the organization and by external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Build integrated communication strategies for major organizational transformations, strategic initiatives, and cross-divisional projects across the Insurance Segment
• Partner with senior executives and program leaders to translate complex business strategies into clear, resonant messaging for multiple audiences
• Develop and deliver internal communications including leadership announcements, all-hands presentations, detailed initiative updates, and change communications
• Design change management communication plans that drive adoption, build stakeholder alignment, and minimize organizational resistance
• Manage external communications and public positioning for significant business announcements and strategic moves
• Measure and optimize communication effectiveness by tracking stakeholder sentiment, gathering feedback, and refining approach based on business impact
• Lead communication teams and coordinate across departments to maintain message consistency and operational efficiency
• Serve as the communication capability owner, establishing best practices and supporting transformation programs throughout the organization

What We're Looking For

• Substantial experience in corporate communications with a proven record of managing strategic communications for major organizational changes
• Deep expertise in change management communication and multi-stakeholder engagement strategies
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging for executives, employees, customers, and the public
• Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership capabilities
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication strategies that drive measurable organizational outcomes
