About This Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Director to join our team at Turner & Townsend Plc. in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide). As a key member of the Project Management and Control (PMC) department, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they meet quality standards while adhering to timelines and budgets.

• Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
• Develop and maintain project documentation and reports
• Lead team meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the construction phase of projects, ensuring all activities are in line with project plans and budgets
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to schedules
• Conducting site inspections and resolving issues related to safety, quality, and schedule
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports on project progress to senior management
• Developing and implementing strategies for cost control and risk mitigation

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management with a focus on project delivery
• A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from start to finish
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Earned Value Management (EVM)
