About the Role
As a Community Living Support Professional, you'll work directly with consumers to support their independence through daily living assistance tailored to their individual needs and goals. Your role bridges professional care with genuine human connection, helping people you serve achieve the quality of life they envision for themselves.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on support with meal preparation and dining assistance
- Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support bathroom needs and hygiene management
- Help with household tasks and maintaining a safe living environment
- Work collaboratively with each person's care team to implement their Person Centered Plan
- Maintain clear communication about daily activities and any changes in the person's needs
- Respond respectfully and compassionately to the unique preferences and dignity of each individual
