About the Role
This full-time position focuses on installation, service, and repair of complex commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. You'll work with large mechanical systems that demand precision, troubleshooting expertise, and a strong command of industrial cooling technologies and system controls.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in commercial HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service to ensure system efficiency and longevity
- Repair and replace mechanical components including compressors, condenser units, evaporators, and control systems
- Conduct system performance testing using specialized diagnostic tools and pressure gauges
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide installation and repair work
- Document all service activities, maintenance records, and repair outcomes
- Follow EPA regulations and industry safety protocols in all operations
What We're Looking For
- Valid HVAC certification and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification
- Hands-on experience servicing commercial refrigeration and chiller systems
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency reading technical blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Dedication to safety, quality, and professional standards
