Join SolutionHealth's laboratory team in Nashua, Hillsborough County as a Clinical Lab Assistant and Phlebotomist. This part-time overnight position operates every other Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at a fully accredited hospital laboratory dedicated to delivering accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care.

About the Role

SolutionHealth's laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and serves as the diagnostic backbone of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. You'll be part of a team committed to collecting and processing specimens with precision, supporting physicians in delivering timely, accurate diagnoses that directly impact patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Perform blood draws and specimen collections from patients in compliance with established protocols and safety standards
• Prepare blood and tissue samples for laboratory analysis using proper techniques and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of all specimens, patient information, and laboratory procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments according to manufacturer specifications
• Follow strict infection control and biohazard protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
• Interact professionally with patients, addressing concerns and providing clear instructions during collection procedures
• Ensure the laboratory meets quality standards and accreditation requirements through meticulous attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• Phlebotomy certification or equivalent clinical laboratory experience
• Strong knowledge of venipuncture, capillary collection, and specimen handling techniques
• Familiarity with laboratory safety regulations (OSHA, CLIA standards)
• Ability to work reliably on overnight shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in patient care
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Flexibility to accommodate an every-other-weekend schedule
