Key Responsibilities

• Review computer-assisted coding suggestions against complete clinical documentation and flag discrepancies for correction.
• Assess coding accuracy trends, prepare concise summary reports and recommend practical process adjustments.
• Collaborate with clinical, coding and health-information colleagues to improve documentation that feeds automatic coding engines.
• Support configuration checks, user-acceptance testing and refinement of computer-assisted coding platforms.
• Monitor adherence to current coding guidelines and coding-compliance standards.
• Deliver clear guidance and informal training on assisted-coding features and best-practice workflows.
• Contribute to projects that streamline clinical coding development cycles across the listed locations.

Qualifications

• Proven background in health-information management, medical coding, clinical data analysis or a closely related discipline.
• Working knowledge of computer-assisted coding software and related clinical classification systems such as ICD-10.
• Solid grasp of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology sufficient to evaluate coded results.
• Strong analytical capability, attention to detail and ability to communicate findings clearly in writing and conversation.
• Proficiency with common reporting tools and office productivity applications.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in health information, nursing, health informatics or equivalent experience.
• Professional coding credentials (for example CPC, CCS or AHIMA-aligned designations) are advantageous.
