Role Overview

The Strategic Research function underpins successful client outcomes at Guidepoint by ensuring precise, timely delivery of expert input worldwide. In this Client Service Associate - Strategic Research position based in Mumbai you will concentrate on forging the most relevant links between clients and Advisors operating across industries in the United States and Europe. You will examine sectors tied to each assignment and identify outstanding subject-matter specialists for the Guidepoint network so client requirements are fulfilled. Daily collaboration takes place with Project Managers and Research Managers located in China. The working hours run from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM IST so that global stakeholders receive continuous support. Guidepoint is hiring for this role and offers a supportive team environment.

Core Duties

• Carefully examine incoming client research briefs and apply multiple resources to locate the most appropriate subject-matter experts across locations, sectors and specialised themes
• Engage potential Advisors through telephone conversations, professional networking platforms and direct outreach to explain the fit between their knowledge and the active project, then bring them into the network
• Evaluate candidates for project suitability and prepare clear, client-ready profiles of qualified experts
• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues across offices and with Advisors to maintain smooth project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree supported by a strong academic record
• Fluent command of English
• Confident, outgoing manner that enables easy conversation with professionals at every level
• Genuine interest in a sourcing or lead-generation style of work
• Curiosity about new topics and readiness to expand knowledge continuously
• Outstanding written and spoken communication abilities
• Proven capacity for effective time management and organisation
• Comfort working independently as well as within a team
• Adaptability to a fast-moving entrepreneurial setting
• Clear interest in collaborating across international teams
