The Opportunity

Join the team at U.S. Xpress - OTR as a Class A CDL Company Driver for an exciting opportunity in Benton, Indiana. As a solo over-the-road (OTR) driver, you'll be responsible for transporting dry van cargo across the United States. This role offers a significant sign-on bonus of $7,500 and a weekly minimum pay of $1,200 to $1,730 depending on performance. The average weekly mileage is 2,000 miles, with top 20% drivers earning up to $1,725 per week. On average, solo OTR drivers earn $83,200 annually.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive dry van cargo across the United States as a solo over-the-road driver.
• Maintain safe and efficient operations while adhering to all company policies and state regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods by following established routes and schedules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with DOT standards.

Requirements

• A valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements for dry van operations.
• 1-5 months of OTR driving experience required.
• Prioritizes safety, reliability, and efficiency in all tasks.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
