About the Role
The Claims Communication and Process Enablement Lead plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence within Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies' Workers Compensation division. This position focuses on clarifying how claims strategy and system changes affect day-to-day workflows, then enabling the Adjusting Team to execute those changes seamlessly. You'll own the communication architecture that keeps claims staff aligned, informed, and equipped to do their best work.
What You'll Do
- Translate complex claims strategy, policy updates, and system changes into clear, actionable guidance for adjusters and claims professionals
- Design and deliver training and enablement materials that help the Claims organization adopt new workflows and procedures
- Establish and maintain communication standards and documentation practices across claims teams
- Collaborate with claims leadership, operations, and IT to ensure consistent messaging and smooth rollouts of organizational changes
- Monitor adoption and gather feedback to refine processes and communication approaches over time
What We're Looking For
- Experience in claims operations, process improvement, or organizational communication roles
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information and communicate it clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong project management and attention to detail
- Comfort working across departments and building alignment on shared goals
- Familiarity with insurance claims environments or regulatory compliance communication (preferred)
