The Opportunity
SAFE PLACE FOR YOUTH is seeking a visionary leader to helm our organization as Chief Executive Officer. This role demands an unwavering commitment to ending youth homelessness and the ability to guide SPY through its next phase of growth, sustainability, housing expansion, public advocacy, and strategic planning.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for scaling and sustaining the organization’s operations and impact.
- Oversee all aspects of organizational management, including financial oversight, program development, and staff supervision.
- Advocate for policy changes that support youth homelessness initiatives at local, state, and federal levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and funders to ensure the organization’s long-term success.
- Drive innovation in service delivery models to better serve young people experiencing homelessness.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a non-profit or social services organization, with at least 5 years in a CEO or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and securing significant financial support for large-scale initiatives.
- Strong track record of strategic planning, policy advocacy, and community engagement.
- Experience in developing and managing diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.
