About This Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly team member to join our Checkouts Team at Mitre 10 MEGA Henderson. As a Checkout Operator, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all customers.

Core Duties

• Process cash and card payments accurately and quickly
• Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance with product information
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist in managing stock levels and restocking shelves as needed
• Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures

• A friendly and approachable personality to engage with customers
• Attention to detail when processing payments and handling cash
• Basic knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles
• Ability to work well in a team environment and support colleagues
• Available for part-time hours, flexible schedule as per business needs
