About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Garden Centre Team Member to join our dynamic and growing team at Mitre 10 MEGA New Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring that our garden centre is well-stocked and organized.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding the products they need with expertise and enthusiasm
• Manage inventory levels to ensure a wide range of products are available for customers
• Keep the garden centre clean, tidy, and visually appealing
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

Skills & Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills for handling point-of-sale systems
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) driver's license (not specified but highly recommended)
