About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Visiting Angels in Abilene. As a CNA, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities within the Big Country area, including Buffalo Gap, Tuscola, Hawley, and surrounding communities.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with daily personal hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with meal preparation and serving to ensure proper nutrition for our clients.
- Administer medications as directed by a healthcare provider.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse or doctor.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current CPR certification is a must.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- A compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude towards care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
