Role Overview

As a CDL-A Truck Driver at Hogan Transportation, you'll operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes, delivering freight safely and on schedule. You'll manage load planning, route navigation, and customer interactions while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Core Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Manage loading and securing cargo in compliance with weight and balance regulations
• Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and delivery records
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel
• Meet delivery schedules while prioritizing safety for yourself and other road users

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Clean driving record and compliance with DOT medical certification requirements
• Experience operating commercial vehicles preferred
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance checks
• Ability to work independently and follow company safety protocols
• Physical capability to perform loading and pre-trip inspection tasks
