Ryder is seeking a CDL‑A Truck Driver – No‑Touch Freight to join its team in Albany, Albany County.

About the Role

This position focuses on regional hauls where drivers never touch the freight, allowing for efficient drop‑and‑hook operations. You’ll run consistent routes that provide regular home time while moving essential medical supplies and other freight for Ryder’s network.

What You'll Do

• Operate a tractor‑trailer safely on assigned regional routes
• Perform drop‑and‑hook deliveries to keep trucks moving efficiently
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Earn competitive pay that includes mileage, drop‑and‑hook bonuses, and nightly per diem

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Proven experience handling regional freight or similar over‑the‑road routes
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to hours‑of‑service rules
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with the dispatch team
• Flexibility to be away from home for scheduled overnights as required by the route
