About the Role

As a CDL A Regional Reefer Truck Driver, you'll be the backbone of Purdy Brothers Trucking's temperature-controlled logistics network. Your refrigerated truck will transport perishable goods—from fresh produce to frozen foods—across the United States. You'll manage climate-controlled loads, maintain strict delivery schedules, and represent the professionalism and reliability that shippers depend on. This position offers regional routes that balance time on the road with predictable home time.

What You'll Do

• Operate a refrigerated commercial truck across regional routes throughout the US
• Maintain proper temperature control and monitor cargo integrity throughout transit
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting maintenance needs
• Comply with DOT regulations, hours of service rules, and electronic logbook requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics coordinators
• Secure and properly load refrigerated freight according to safety standards
• Maintain accurate records and logbooks
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
• Refrigerated truck (reefer) experience—we value experienced regional drivers
