What You'll Do

• Haul freight for matched carrier partners over OTR, regional, or dedicated routes out of the Indianapolis area
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your equipment compliant and road-ready
• Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and comply with all DOT and FMCSA hours-of-service requirements
• Communicate consistently with dispatch and receivers regarding load status, delays, and delivery confirmations
• Manage day-to-day operating costs, fuel planning, and routine maintenance scheduling as an independent contractor
• Complete all required freight documentation, including bills of lading and load confirmations, accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with a clean motor vehicle record
• Ownership or qualifying long-term lease of a commercial tractor that meets carrier specifications
• Working knowledge of DOT compliance standards, axle weight regulations, and ELD systems
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screen
• Self-directed work ethic and a consistent record of safe, on-time performance
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
