About This Position
We are currently seeking experienced CDL-A Over the Road (OTR) drivers to join our team at Big M Diesel Express. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $75k per year. As a company driver, you will be responsible for operating dry van trailers in an over-the-road setting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver freight to various locations across the country
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of deliveries and trips
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe operating condition before, during, and after each trip
- Follow all company policies and procedures for safety and efficiency
- Work closely with dispatch to plan routes and schedules
Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 1 year of OTR driving experience. A valid CDL-A license is required, as well as a clean driving record. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with both dispatch and customers. Familiarity with E-logs and company policies will be beneficial.
