About the Role
As a CDL A chemical tanker owner operator, you'll manage all aspects of transporting liquid bulk chemicals, from pre-trip inspections to delivery and compliance documentation. This full-time position offers the independence of owner operator work with the backing of an established chemical hauling operation.
What You'll Do
- Operate your tanker truck hauling liquid bulk chemical loads across assigned regions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain your equipment in DOT-compliance condition
- Load and unload chemical tankers following safety protocols and company procedures
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Follow all DOT and hazmat transportation regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding load status and delivery times
- Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs
What We're Looking For
- Current CDL A license with hazmat endorsement
- Demonstrated experience operating liquid bulk tanker equipment
- Clean driving record and safety-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently while meeting delivery schedules
- Knowledge of tanker maintenance and equipment operation
- Willingness to comply with all federal and state transportation regulations

We offer competitive revenue splits based on your equipment configuration:
- 68% revenue for tankers equipped with both pump and air systems
- 67% revenue for tankers with pump or air equipped
- 65% revenue for tankers without pump or air equipment
- 100% fuel surcharge passed directly to you
- Hourly detention pay after 2 hours of unload and offload time
- Consideration for qualified contractors without equipment available on a case-by-case basis
