About the Role

As a Casualty Claims Specialist based in Belleville, you will manage the full lifecycle of casualty claims for First Chicago Insurance Company. Working on-site alongside an experienced claims team, you'll apply sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to deliver fair, timely outcomes for policyholders and the business alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, investigate, and adjudicate casualty insurance claims from first notice through final resolution.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages by analyzing policy terms, documentation, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate clearly with claimants, insureds, attorneys, and other involved parties throughout the claims process.
• Document claim activity thoroughly and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
• Negotiate equitable settlements within established authority and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure each claim is handled ethically and efficiently.
