About the Role

We are seeking a Educator to join our team in Torquay, Surf Coast. As a Educator with Busy Bees, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that foster the development of children aged from birth to five years old.

• Provide nurturing and supportive environments for children
• Plan and implement educational activities aligned with developmental milestones
• Collaborate with other educators and staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to education
• Assess and document child development, ensuring parents are informed of their progress
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all children

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Creating engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse needs and abilities
• Assisting with the daily care of children, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines
• Developing positive relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure effective communication about child development
• Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
• Maintaining a safe and clean learning environment for all children

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• A relevant early childhood qualification such as Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working in a childcare setting
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• A passion for early childhood education and development
