About the Role

As a Care Professional with McLeod Home Care, you'll deliver personalized in-home care to individuals who value independence and dignity in their own homes. Working full-time in Lexington, you'll build meaningful client relationships while maintaining the high standards of care that define our reputation across South Carolina and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and grooming
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Prepare meals and support proper nutrition
• Manage light housekeeping and household tasks
• Help with errands, shopping, and transportation to appointments
• Monitor client health and safety, reporting concerns to supervisors
• Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
• Treat clients with respect, dignity, and professional boundaries

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in home care, personal assistance, or caregiving roles
• Genuine compassion, patience, and reliability
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home visits across Lexington
• Physical ability to assist and safely lift clients with proper techniques
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documenting care
• Commitment to client confidentiality and professional ethics
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member
