About the Role
As our Breakfast Attendant/Social at Homewood Suites Mount Pleasant, you'll set the tone for guest satisfaction during their stay. This full-time position focuses on creating an engaging breakfast experience through hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine guest interaction in our dining area.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet each morning, ensuring the space is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests
- Stock and replenish food and beverage stations throughout service, maintaining adequate supply of all items
- Greet and engage warmly with guests, answering questions about menu options and accommodating dietary requests
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and visual presentation during the entire breakfast service
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in line with hotel and food service regulations
- Clear, reset, and sanitize the breakfast area after each service period
- Assist other team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction and hotel operations
What We're Looking For
- Experience in hospitality, food service, or guest-facing hotel positions (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic morning environment
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and proper food handling practices
- Availability for early morning shifts and weekend work as needed
- Reliable, positive attitude and dedication to consistent, quality performance
