About the Role

As a Behavior Consultant, you'll provide clinical expertise and direct support services under the guidance of the Program Director. You'll review clinical recommendations from treatment orders and translate them into practical, effective interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and ongoing observations to understand client needs, strengths, and challenges
  • Collaborate with clients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that align with clinical recommendations and personal goals
  • Deliver direct consultation and behavioral support services that promote positive outcomes and skill development
  • Stay current with clinical updates, best practices, and recommendations outlined in client treatment orders
  • Document progress, observations, and treatment outcomes with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate findings and recommendations to the treatment team
  • Support clients in applying behavioral strategies across home, community, and work settings

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in behavioral health, case management, community mental health, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to establish rapport and collaborate respectfully with clients and families
  • Attention to clinical detail and commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client cases
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Relevant bachelor's degree, certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred
