Position Summary

The Border Patrol Agent (BPA) position at Customs and Border Protection in Falfurrias, Brooks County, offers a unique opportunity for experienced law enforcement officers to contribute to national security. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance and patrols along the border to detect illegal activity and threats to national security.
• Intercept, detain, and process individuals attempting to enter or exit the country illegally.

• Respond to emergencies and assist in search and rescue operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have prior law enforcement officer (LEO) experience, which may qualify for higher-grade positions GL-9 GS-11.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Clean criminal background and a strong commitment to public service.
