The Opportunity
D.A. Davidson & Co., a leading full-service investment banking firm with operations nationwide, is seeking an Experienced Investment Banking Analyst 2 to join our Diversified Industrials Group in Chicago, Illinois. As part of the team, you will play a key role in assisting senior bankers on strategic assignments and supporting clients with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and other advisory services.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist senior bankers with various financial modeling tasks and due diligence processes for M&A transactions
- Support the preparation of investment memorandums, presentations, and other client-facing materials
- Contribute to the execution of public and private capital markets offerings
- Participate in client meetings and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Analyze financial data and market trends to support strategic decision-making processes
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with at least 3-5 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst. Key responsibilities include:
- A strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis techniques
- Exposure to M&A, public and private capital markets transactions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
