Bilingual Social Worker, New York City

Social Work p.r.n. seeks a full-time Bilingual Social Worker to join our team in Manhattan, New York City. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on clients' lives through community-based housing programs designed to foster stability, wellness, and independent living.

About the Role

As a Bilingual Social Worker with Social Work p.r.n., you'll provide person-centered support to individuals and families navigating housing stability and related services. Working within our New York City-based community programs, you'll develop meaningful, trusting relationships with clients while coordinating care, connecting people to resources, and advocating for their needs.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized service plans in collaboration with clients
• Provide culturally responsive counseling and case management services
• Connect clients to community resources, benefits programs, and support networks
• Monitor client progress, adjust plans as needed, and document all interactions professionally
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, housing staff, and community partners
• Utilize bilingual communication to serve our diverse Manhattan clientele effectively
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and organizational policies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or related field
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language; strong ability to communicate across cultures
• Experience working in social services, community health, or housing support roles
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, client dignity, and empowering communities
• Strong organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work compassionately and professionally with populations experiencing housing instability or trauma
